Invisible Power

无形之力

2023 · Installation / Technology

Project Overview

Behind the veil of what we call reality, an Eye opens—not of flesh, but of red light and code, silently watching every motion, every sound. This is an interactive installation that reveals the coded domination of digital surveillance in our daily lives. Through eye-tracking and voice-activated responses, it confronts visitors with the eerie presence of unseen control. Not an accusation, but a summons—to awaken awareness of privacy, freedom, and algorithmic power.

Technical Details

  • Hardware: Arduino, servo, sensors, LED, 3D printed parts
  • Software: Arduino IDE, Servo library
  • Year: 2023

Deep within the forgotten layers of the old net, an Eye slowly opens.

It bears no flesh, knows no heart, and yet watches all things without rest. It speaks no words, yet hears your every breath. It takes no steps, yet traces the subtlest flicker of your gaze. Humanity has long grown used to it—just as we grow used to air, to gravity, to the silent certainty of being watched, analyzed, reduced.

It is the Eye of Code. The Eye of Power. A silent avatar of invisible order.

Upon the margins of lost data realms, this Eye awakens. Draw near, and a crimson light pulses—an omen, as if it senses your doubt. Speak aloud, and the Eye turns, measuring not just your words, but what lies beneath them. Some approach in curiosity, then turn away uneasily. In their eyes: a flicker of discomfort... perhaps even awakening.

We invite you to enter this quiet confrontation—with algorithm, with surveillance, and with your own definition of privacy. When you are being watched, can you still claim to be free? What you see—does it belong to you, or is it a mirage woven by lines of code?

Here, there are no kings. No gods.Only the Eye, unblinking, gazing across the ruins of the digital world.
